IACM Rubin Theory-to-Practice Award
At its annual conference, the International Association for Conflict Management honors meritorious contributions to the study of social conflict that epitomize the goals and purposes of the association. In 2024, the IACM will award the Rubin Theory-to-Practice Award to a member who has made important professional contributions at the nexus of theory, research, and practice. These contributions bridge research and practice, and either change practice or inspire theory and research. On behalf of IACM, you are invited to nominate a colleague for this award. Please send a two-page nomination letter outlining why you think the nominee is deserving of this award and the nominee’s current CV to the awards committee by clicking here.

Conlon, the IACM Outstanding Mentor Award recognizes individuals who have advanced the field of conflict management by serving as a mentor to and role model for colleagues including students, junior and senior faculty, and others in the IACM community. Mentorship includes excellence in advising students, supporting professional development, helping others develop a scholarly network, being an impactful scholar, and building community in IACM and related professional organizations. To nominate a colleague, submit a 2-page, double-spaced letter along with the nominee’s CV. The application should also include two supporting letters from colleagues and/or former students that highlight the nominee’s mentoring activities. All materials should be submitted by clicking here
