Author Registration Notice
All papers/sessions on the conference program must have at least one (1) registrant by end-of-day May 22nd. Any papers without a registrant come that point will be assumed to not being presented and withdrawn from the program. The conference program will adjust accordingly on May 23rd.
Registration Cost – Member/Non-Member Fees
IACM Membership is $40 for General Members and $25 for Student/Emeritus Members. These memberships can be purchased or renewed during conference registration. Please note the variable pricing below for members and non-members. All conference registration options will increase by $50 on May 31st.
Active memberships will be extended by one-year from their current expiration dates. You can purchase your membership during the conference registration phase for a discount.
ALTERNATIVE HOTELS NOTICE
Due to the massive interest in this conference and in Thessaloniki for this summer in general, we have been notified that our hotel has been booked out in full. You *may* find rooms available through your credit card's reservation system (i.e. Chase, Citi, etc.). We strongly encourage you to check there first.
In the event that rooms are no longer available, there are numerous other options a bit closer to downtown Thessaloniki (an 18-minute walk along the Gulf and park space) that still have availability. These are currently priced in the $110-$200 range (as of 4/17/2023). In no particular order, please look at:

IACM has signed a contract offering rooms to our attendees for a July 9th arrival through July 12th departure. Any rooms outside of that contracted block will be subject to availability. We have contracted for the group rate to be made available for pre/post of three (3) days, meaning you can arrive as early as July 7th and depart as late as July 16th for the contracted group rate. Again, this is subject to availability so we strongly recommend you book early!
All reservations must be made by April 25, 2023. The group rate and IACM's room block expires at that time.
The cost per room night is 170€ for a city view room or 190€ for a sea view room. An adult double occupancy is +25€. Children (7-15) are at a discounted rate. Ages 6 and under are free. Please note that rooms have size/occupancy limits. You may need to contact the hotel to discuss options for bookings of 4+ individuals.
Conference Registration Fees for Members:
- $560 general registration + $40 membership ($40 conference fee reduction)
- $425 student/emeritus registration + $25 membership ($25 conference fee reduction)

Refund & Registration Policy
IACM’s refund policy is as follows:
- 100% refund if requested via email to brandon@iafcm.org by May 10th.
- 50% refund if requested between May 11th and May 26th.
- No refund if requested after May 26th.
IACM shall not be held liable for failure of performing its reasonably expected conference obligations if such failure or delay is the result of an ‘act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations. IACM shall not be held liable in the event the attendee/registrant is unable to attend and/or participate in the IACM conference as a result of ‘an act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations.
Registering after May 26th may prevent IACM from being able to offer items that are custom orders, such as any registration welcoming (“swag”) items due to lead times, shipping times, etc.
IACM will make its best effort to provide meals for those with dietary restrictions within a reasonable cost and effort. In the case of a dietary restriction resulting in an excessive cost to the Association, the attendee will need to make meal accommodations in accordance to their restrictions.
IACM cannot make exceptions to this refund policy. Come the dates listed above, the organization has already incurred a guaranteed expense that will be charged to the Association regardless of attendance.
