The official hotel of IACM 2019 is The Mills House at a rate of $199.
You can book your room now by clicking here. (It is recommended that you ONLY book online and not call in. If you call in and all of your dates are not within the room block price, then all nights will end up out of the room block price.)
Please note that, as always, there are a limited number of guaranteed rooms held at the block room rate. We suggest you make your reservation as soon as possible in advance of the conference. Charleston will operate at a near 100% room capacity at downtown hotels, so we urge you not to delay. Be aware that if you select a date that is no longer priced at the block rate, the ‘upcharge’ of that date will be spread out across the entirety of the reservation, so your end rates may not look like the block rate.
Due to the heavy interest in getting into Charleston early, the following dates are no longer available at the conference rate (will be updated as we are notified):
Saturday, July 11th
Should you choose to stay in a hotel other than The Mills House, a map of available hotels in the area of our host site can be found via Google Maps by clicking here.
Our conference sessions and banquets will be operating out of both The Mills House and the adjacent historic Hibernian Hall.
We recommend that you either arrive on Saturday, July 11th or early on Sunday, July 12th so that you can experience Charleston’s fantastic “Second Sunday” event nearby the hotel. The city shuts down its famous cobblestone King Street to pedestrians-only, with all local shops bring their wares, dining tables, etc. out into the street. After that head down to The Battery, the famous Market Street shops, Rainbow Row, and Charleston Harbor — all right around our hotel!
Getting to Charleston
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is just 11 miles from downtown Charleston and The Mills House Wyndham Grand Hotel. When flying into Charleston, please note that if you are using a comprehensive flight search / booking site such as Google Flights, you will not see all of Charleston’s major carriers. Two of Charleston’s largest airlines are JetBlue and Southwest, which are often not searchable on such comprehensive sites. Be sure to check ALL of your flight options to get the best prices and times.

- 25% refund if requested between June 11th and June 24th.

IACM shall not be held liable for failure of performing its reasonably expected conference obligations if such failure or delay is the result of an ‘act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations. IACM shall not be held liable in the event the attendee/registrant is unable to attend and/or participate in the IACM conference as a result of ‘an act of God’, such as earthquake, hurricane, tornado, flooding, or other natural disaster, or in the case of war, action of foreign enemies, terrorist activities, labor dispute or strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or failure of electrical service, or community gathering or travel restrictions due to local and/or federal health advisories and recommendations.
IACM cannot make exceptions to this refund policy. Come the dates listed above, the organization has already incurred a guaranteed expense that will be charged to the Association regardless of attendance.
