We are now accepting nominations for the International Association for Conflict Management’s Board of Directors. Self-nominations are acceptable.
Please be aware that nominees MUST be current members of IACM to be eligible for ballot consideration. If the nominee is not a member, the nominee must proceed to IAfCM.org to purchase a one-year membership.
If nominating an IACM member (other than yourself in a self-nomination), you must have the consent of the prospective nominee to submit this application.
Board members are expected to attend the July pre-conference and post-conference meetings, as well as attend and be engaged in any virtual meetings and email discussions conducted in between. There is a minimum of four (4) meetings throughout the year, most are held virtually.
We are seeking nominations for the role of President-Elect and two (2) At-Large Board Member positions.
- President-Elect serves as President-Elect for one (1) year beginning with the close of IACM 2025, as President for two (2) years from the close of IACM 2026 to the close of IACM 2028, and as Past-President for one (1) year beginning at the close of IACM 2028 and concluding at the close of IACM 2029.
- At-Large Board Members serve for two (2) years beginning with the close of IACM 2025 and ending with the close of IACM 2027.
The Nominations & Elections committee will follow up with nominees. A nomination does not guarantee a place on the ballot. Long-term presence in the Association is not a prerequisite to be on the ballot, so we encourage junior, mid-career, and senior faculty alike to be nominated! Nominees will be requested to provide a one-page background for members to be able to review as well as a headshot image for the voting process.
The election will take place in January. All individuals that are members of IACM as of the December 1st membership roster will be eligible to vote in this election.
