The Negotiation & Team Resources Institute (NTR) proudly sponsors the NTR-IACM early Career Scholars Award. This award is a competitive award that is earned by the top percentage of reviewed IACM conference papers in which doctoral students or Post-Docs (within five years of earning their doctorate) are first authors on their paper.
The goal of this program is to encourage young scholars to do negotiation research, broadly defined, to participate in IACM, and become active, long-term members of the association.
Awards will be made to doctoral students and early career (five years years post PhD) first authors of full papers submitted and accepted to present their work in a paper session to the focal year’s conference. Awards will be based on quality of the submitted conference papers as peer reviewed according to IACM’s standard review process.
Award recipients will be expected to submit a paper or organize a non-paper activity at a second conference during the four-year award period. IACM will carefully consider symposia or other creative activities submitted by award recipients for their second conference, especially activities which promote collaboration and networking among award recipients and IACM members.
The total award amount is $2000, being composed of $1000 for each of the two committed conferences. The annual IACM conference registration fee will be removed from the $1000 award with the remainder being provided to the recipient.
Qualified early career first authors may state their interest in being considered for this award during the paper submission process.
