A Paradox Lens on Morality in International Business


Abstract: This paper seeks to advance negotiation theory by offering a paradox lens. We unpack the contradictory, interdependent, and persistent nature of tensions that arise in international business negotiations because of diverging moral perspectives and values. Our framework advances our understanding of tensions individual negotiators experience while offering a more effective and sustainable approach to managing these unresolvable tensions over time.
