2018 IACM Rubin Theory-to-Practice Award

At its annual conference, the International Association for Conflict
Management honors meritorious contributions to the study of social conflict
that epitomize the goals and purposes of the association. In 2018, the IACM
will award the Rubin Theory-to-Practice Award to a member who has made
important professional contributions at the nexus of theory, research, and
practice. These contributions bridge research and practice, and either
change practice or inspire theory and research. On behalf of IACM, you are
invited to nominate a colleague for this award. Please send a two-page
nomination letter outlining why you think the nominee is deserving of this
award and the nominee's current CV to the awards committee at
https://form.jotform.com/80120163477147. The deadline for nominations is
March 5, 2018.

2018 IACM Outstanding Publication Award: Article or Book Chapter (published
in 2016)

The International Association for Conflict Management honors the author of a
published article or book chapter that advances conflict management and
negotiation theory and practice. The outstanding published article or book
chapter is selected by a committee chaired by an IACM
Representative-at-Large. On behalf of IACM, you are invited to nominate an
article or book chapter for the 2018 IACM outstanding publication award.
Eligible articles or book chapters were published (final publication date;
not online-first version) between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016;
nominations may have an empirical, theoretical, or practical focus.
Self-nominations are welcome. To nominate an article or chapter for this
award, please email a full-text pdf copy of the paper along with a one-page
nomination letter that describes its contribution and why it is deserving of
this nomination to the awards committee at

March 5, 2018.

2018 IACM Outstanding Book (published in 2016-2017)

The International Association for Conflict Management honors the author of
an outstanding book that advances conflict management and negotiation theory
and practice. Books contributing to theory (original or refinements),
research (including methods), and practice (including evaluations)-or at the
nexus of these categories-will be considered. On behalf of IACM, you are
invited to nominate books for the 2018 Outstanding Book Award. Eligible
books were published between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2017.
Self-nominations are welcome. To nominate a book for this award, please
email a two-page letter that describes the contribution of the book and why
it is deserving of this recognition to the awards committee at
https://form.jotform.com/80120163477147. The deadline for nominations is
March 5, 2018.

2018 IACM Fellows Nominations

The International Association for Conflict Management honors scholars who
have made a distinguished scholarly contribution to the field of conflict
management; such contribution should be meaningful and notable, have had
significant and sustained impact on the field. Contribution may be made via
theory, practice, or empirical research ranging from and not limited to
mathematical modeling, experiments, field and case studies. On behalf of
IACM, you are invited to nominate candidates for IACM Fellow. Nominees must
have been a member of IACM for at least one year. Nominations may be made by
any IACM member or a collective group of members, such as the IACM Advisory
Committee. To nominate a candidate, submit the necessary files with the
nominee's current CV and a letter or letters of endorsement at
https://form.jotform.com/80120163477147. The deadline for nominations is
March 5, 2018.

The deadline for all IACM award nominations is March 5, 2018. IACM awards
are determined by the specific committees and may or may not be awarded
annually.
