Learning to Use New AI Tools for Negotiation Research: A Hands-On Preconference Workshop

Abstract: The workshop introduces IACM members to three tools that may be useful for their negotiation and dispute resolution research and teaching, and provides training to use these tools, and a chance to practice using the tools. These tools are: L-BAM Library (Language-Based Assessment Model), PsychAdapter and Vanderbilt AI Negotiation Coder. Each presentation will have three components: 1. Introduce participants to the tool (history, how developed, validation data, examples of use). 2. Demonstrate the steps needed to run data through the tools 3. Provide time for participants to run analyses with guidance from the developer
