Truth and Reconciliation: How Conflict Professionals Can Address Systemic Challenges

Abstract: This session will give participants a firsthand look at efforts in multiple U.S. cities to foster dialogue and consensus building among those who have felt oppressed by systemic racism and those who have been held responsible--including chiefs of police, mayors, other policymakers, educators, activists, and business leaders. Presenters will share their unfiltered experience as facilitators of these dialogues and processes, providing context from past efforts in other countries and communities and offering lessons learned and key takeaways.
