Abstract: We hope – more than hope – the war in Israel and Gaza will end soon. With this hope, we propose a symposium panel called The Day After the War to discuss what it means to move forward after the war ends. This panel comprises six presentations; several of the presenters on this panel have worked to foster good relationships between Israelis and Palestinians and to improve educational opportunities and experiences for Palestinians and Arabs in Israel. In addition to unique perspectives presented by both Israeli and Palestinian educators and activists, this symposium includes a presentation that looks at the impact of the war in U.S. universities, which serves to complement the other five presentations.
