The Impact of AI Gender Features on Human-AI Interaction

Abstract: Despite the increasing prevalence of AI designed with gender features, there is still much we don’t know when it comes to people’s reactions toward gendered AI. We take a meta- analytical approach to explore whether people apply gender social roles and stereotypes to gendered AI and what it means for negotiation.
