Using Transformer Models for Negotiation Research

Abstract: This presentation will briefly review what transformer models are and discuss what research questions might be addressed using transformer models for the study of negotiations and disputes. It also describes recent advances in forming a negotiation “domain adapted” transformer model, using many transcripts provide by negotiation scholars.
