Helpful or Harmful? The Role of Ingroup Members as the Source of Evaluation in Stereotype Threat Contexts

Abstract: In a series of studies, I investigate the role of ingroup member evaluators in stereotype threat contexts for women and racial minority students – pinning down specifically when ingroup members are more likely to serve a protective role versus a harmful role for individuals experiencing stereotype threat.
