Having and Keeping Secrets

Abstract: The present theory talk defines secrecy as the intent to keep information unknown by one or more others. This intention can come to mind in two broad contexts (whereby concealment is not required, or concealment is required), invoking distinct processes. The model unifies several literatures and identifies future research directions.

Keywords: conversation, conflict, negotiation
