Does Challenging Women To Close The Gender Gap In Competitiveness Change Their Behavior? Evidence From The Field

We run a field experiment on an executive job search platform to test the impact of informing women about gender gaps in competitiveness and encouraging them to defy the norm of shying away from competition. We measure effects on the number of leadership roles women apply for on the platform.
