The Three Minute Thesis Competition for IACM 2022

The first IACM 3MTTM competition was held in 2021. For the IACM 2022 conference, we plan to continue to hold the 3MTTM competition, which celebrates exciting conflict and negotiation research conducted by graduate students. Developed by the University of Queensland (UQ), the 3MTTM competition cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition assesses graduate students’ ability to effectively explain their research in three minutes, using language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Suitable topics are within the interdisciplinary and broad domain of conflict management and negotiation. Our goal with this competition is to advance our research culture for the next generation of scholars and to build community within IACM.
