The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition for IACM 2021

Abstract: The 3MTTM competition celebrates the exciting research conducted by graduate students. Developed by the University of Queensland (UQ), the 3MTTM exercise cultivates students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. We have adapted this Novel Session from UQ. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. Potential topics are suitable within the interdisciplinary and broad domain of conflict management and negotiation. This session will feature the five top-rated submissions, including showing the five finalists’ submissions (15 minutes), followed by a panel session with the five presenters.
