Even though the opportunity to come together in person is no longer viable, IACM is committed to supporting the sharing of insights, experiences, and discoveries in the areas of conflict management, negotiation, and peacebuilding. To that end, our conference will be moving to an online format – <i>vIACM</i> – which will take place July 12-15, 2020. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing>Moreover, given the emerging organizational, political, relational, and cultural dynamics that have required adaptation on the fly, we aim to provide a space where scholars and practitioners can reflect on and share the implications of those dynamics for their teaching, research, and practice related insights and experiences. To that end, <b>we are inviting submissions of novel and innovative panels, symposia and professional development workshops that foster continued learning, growth, and progress in these times.</b> Consistent with the mission of IACM, topics these submissions might explore include, for example: promoting resilience; managing uncertainty; building community through anti-racism training, intergroup dialogue, and other social justice efforts; negotiating in challenging economic times; communicating social support; teaching negotiation over distance; and negotiating organizational tensions.<i><o:p></o:p></i></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><i><o:p> </o:p></i></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing>IACM was founded to encourage scholars and practitioners to develop and disseminate theory, research, and experience that can help to explain, facilitate, and transform conflict management and peacebuilding in interpersonal, organizational, societal, family, and international settings.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing>We welcome submissions from researchers and practitioners alike.
